Can architecture design spaces for humans and non-human actors? Can technology help create habitats that merge seamlessly with the natural world? Can construction processes adapt to ecological systems rather than replace them?
These questions drive the exploration of raw clay 3D printing in MUD Robots. The project combines natural clay with robotic fabrication to investigate a built environment where architecture and nature are not separate but interwoven. It speculates on a post-Anthropocene future where construction follows the logic of ecosystems rather than imposing on them.
