We are a team of architects, designers, engineers, educators and students from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin passionate about the role of the built environment in solving the climate crisis.
Giovanni is an architect and Professor of Architectural Design for Building Performance at the University of California, Berkeley, currently based in Berlin.
An internationally recognized practitioner in the field of sustainable and computational design, Giovanni has been Associate Partner at Foster+Partners in London (Masdar City Abu Dhabi, Apple Campus in Cupertino and Bloomberg European HQ in London among others) and Head of the Performance Design at HENN Architects in Berlin (Zalando HQ in Berlin, Merck Plaza in Darmstadt, Carbon Concrete Cube in Dresden).

Katharina (Dipl. Ing. Arch. Univ., ARB) is an architect with international experience in a wide range of projects in many different climates and scales: from the smallest micro compact homes in the alps designed with Prof. Richard Horden and exhibited at the MoMA in New York, to one of the largest airports in the world (Kuwait International Airport with Foster+Partners) in the desert sand of Kuwait. Currently an architect at Sauerbruch Hutton in Berlin, Katharina has recently led the renovation of a large listed complex of Buildings in the heart of Berlin.
